Wenatchee Valley Humane Society Offering Microchipping Clinic to Community Pets
WENATCHEE, WA- Wenatchee Valley Humane Society (WVHS) is providing microchipping clinics to owned dogs and cats in Chelan and Douglas Counties, during select Wednesdays in March.
Cost is $25 and includes both the Microchip and registration. All pets are eligible for these clinics.
Clinics will be held on March 10, 17, and 24th, from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Wenatchee Valley Humane Society. Space is limited and advance appointments are required.
For pets who already have microchips, WVHS is hosting ‘Check Your Chip’ drive thru during clinic hours. Folks can drive up with their pet, and a WVHS team member will scan their pet’s chip to confirm it is active and the contact information it contains is current.
Pet licenses will also be available to clinic attendees for purchase.
Pets should be accompanied by an owner, 18 or older. For safety purposes, dogs must be on a leash and cats transported in a carrier.
Microchips and licensing are some of the most effective tools to returning lost pets home and WVHS encourages all pets to have both.
To schedule an appointment, visit: www.wenatcheehumane.org/microchipping. For questions or additional information, please call WVHS at 509-662-9577.
